ECJS 6 wheel Luggage Brake Van (diag 41)
Three of the luggage brake vans were built for the ECJS in 1896. Nos 259 and 260 passed to the NBR,and No261 passed to the NER just before grouping in 1923.

Built by Gloucester Carriage and Wagon Companyin 1893 for runnng on ECJS. Some were later converted along witha 3rd class coach into an articulated Twin Composite.

Built for King Edward at Doncaster in 1908. In 1925, rebuilt for day use only for the Queen, and in this condition continued in service till 1978 and is now
preserved at NRM in York.
